Sushi Art has announced a collaboration with chef Grégoire Berger.
Launching on April 15, 2025, the eight-course Omakase menu will be available across all Sushi Art locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and will remain on offer for a year.
The brand says Berger is a long-term guest at its JBR branch and his menu blends technique, emotion and accessibility.
“This menu is personal,” says Berger adds. “It’s inspired by the sea, memory, family, and my long-standing relationship with Sushi Art. I wanted each dish to feel intentional, yet playful. Familiar, yet elevated.”
Rooted in the Japanese omakase tradition, which translates to “I leave it up to you”, the menu is AED159.
The experience opens with Black Sesame Dynamite Shrimp, a theatrical, tableside dish finished with charcoal tempura and umeboshi-pink sesame. Other standout creations include the Nashi Pear & Cabbage Coleslaw Spring Roll, inspired by the chef’s daughter, the Crispy Shiso Tacos with Salmon & Kalamansi, and the oceanic Obsiblue Roll with Blue Rice & Tom Kha. Rounding out the menu are Tuna Nigiri with Kimchi No Moto, Torched Wagyu Nigiri with Cherry BBQ Sauce, and two refined desserts: Matcha Ganache Mochi and Chocolate Tart with Vanilla & Buckwheat.
Nadim Majdalani, CEO of eathos group, which operates Sushi Art, adds: “At Sushi Art, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to evolve the dining experience while staying true to the heart of our brand. Collaborating with chef Gregoire, someone who has been part of our journey as a loyal guest, made perfect sense. This menu is not just about innovation – it’s about connection, creativity, and making exceptional food more accessible to our community.”
